Crop a screenshot
Full-screen captures bury the problem. Drag a crop box around the part that matters, then add arrows or text in the same place. The crop is non-destructive until you export.

Paste the screenshot
Press Ctrl+V (⌘V) or drop the file on the editor.

Drag the crop area
With Crop (C) selected, drag over what you want to keep. Draw again to change it, or press Reset crop.

Annotate and export
Switch to any tool to mark up the cropped image, then download or copy.
Cropping for bug reports and docs
- Keep enough context to orient the reader: the section heading, or the nearby navigation.
- Crop out personal data at the edges (bookmarks bar, other tabs, desktop notifications) instead of blurring it.
- For documentation, crop consistently: the same width for every step screenshot looks professional.
- Cropping never upsamples. The exported file is the original pixels inside the box.

How do I crop a screenshot online?
Paste the screenshot into the editor, choose Crop (C), drag a box around the area to keep and release. Download to save the cropped image.
Can I undo a crop?
Yes. Press Undo or “Reset crop”. The full image is kept until you export.
Do annotations outside the crop get saved?
No. Only what’s inside the crop area is exported.
